Columbia Turf Farms offers the following types of turf grasses which are ideal for residential or commercial use.

Empire Zoysia

Empire Zoysia is dark green in color and has a wide bladed, open growth habit.  Empire greens up early in the spring and has excellent fall color retention.  This grass is adapted to southern U.S. climates and does well in sandy loam and clay soils and exhibits vigorous re-growth from rhizomes.  Homeowners will appreciate its maintenance advantages and is an excellent alternative to Centipede or tall Fescue

Centipede Common

Centipede grass is a slow-growing, apple-green, medium-leaved turfgrass that is adapted for use as a low maintenance, general purpose turf.

Tifway 419 Bermuda

Tifway 419 is a deep green Bermuda grass with a fine texture.  Tifway is well suited for fine lawns, fairways and golf tee areas.

Celebration Bermuda

This dark blue-green grass was developed in Australia and will outperform all other Bermuda grasses.  It grows well in sandy loam and clay soils.  It is highly durable with rapid injury recovery and fair shade tolerance.

Palmetto St. Augustine

Palmetto St. Augustine demonstrates superior shade, cold, frost, heat, and drought tolerance.
